Hypointense lesion centered in the anterior third ventricle, extending into the sella inferiorly
and enhancing heterogenously with Gadolinium.
The Empty sella is a common condition, which is seen as an incidental finding. The pituitary
gland is seen flattened against the sellar floor and the stalk is central. It has no clinical significance, except
when linked to prominent optic sheaths and papilledema.
